Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve (incl. Greyton)
The rugged peaks of the Riviersonderend Mountains tower over the picturesque towns of McGregor, Greyton and Genadendal. Only a stones throw away from Cape Town, these trails offer a beautiful escape among Breede Valley koppies, into deep valleys and along fynbos slopes dotted with irresistible rock-pools.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve is located near the town of Robertson. However, the Boesmanskloof and Genadendal overnight trails, are found in the Riviersondered mountains proper. More information about these trails and obtaining permits can be found on CapeNature's Vrolijkheid Nature Reserve webpage.
Take note that overnight accommodation for these trails must be booked independently with private operators.
Conservation fees are waivered with a valid Wild Card and proof of ID.
There are also trails located in the Greyton Nature Reserve.
