Oppelskop
A delightful short hike up the front of Devil's Peak, with short trudge to the Saddle and slow descent down to the Oppelskop ruin, with sweeping views of the city bowl along the way.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Starting at Tafelberg Rd, you immediately begin zig-zagging up the front of Table Mountain. After half an hour or so, the path flattens out somewhat as you approach The Saddle. Keep left and follow the path round the front of Devil's Peak. Oppelskop is on the next spur on your left – follow this path to it. Follow the short scramble back down to the lower contour path to complete the loop.
TRAIL TRIVIA
In 1971 an aircraft crashed into Devil's Peak. Regrettably, all 11 people on board died in the accident.
